2009 Futsal Tournament a HUGE SUCCESS!

The 2009 ONU High School Futsal Tournament set records in 2009. 34 teams participated this year and both days were very competitive. On Saturday, Sidney and Hiland took home the titles, while on Sunday, Toledo Christian and Lehman Catholic were able to capture the championships.

But, more importantly, every team had a lot of fun and all of the games were extremely close. Thank you to everyone who attended the 2009 futsal tournament!

The schedules for this years Futsal tournament have been announced. Below you can find your teams FIRST game as well as directions. This year's tournament will feature excitement off the field as well including a raffle and a speek kick game! Also, be sure to check back after the tournament for videos and pictures of the action!

I-75 South to Exit 145 (SR 235)
SR 235 South into Ada
Over Railroad Tracks
Turn Right on Lincoln Ave – Post Office on the corner
Go Through Two Stop Signs

From Cleveland (approximately 2 ½ hours from the south or west side):
I-71 South to SR 30
SR 30 West to SR 235 (Turn Left)

2009 High School Futsal Tournament hosted by ONU

The 2009 Futsal Tournaments will be held on Saturday, Feb. 28th and Sunday, March 1st.

There will be a maximum of 16 teams each day. Spots fill up quickly!! To reserve your team's spot, simply email Coach Brent Ridenour at b-ridenour@onu.edu. More details will be sent to you at that time!

Roster sizes should be limited to 10-12 players per team. You may sign up more than one team. There will be two divisions - Black will be the TOP Division and Orange will be the SECOND division. Cost will be $245.00 per team.
